Thanks to Zenius-I-Vanisher.com and Bemanistyle.com for providing the initial news. With the onset of January and February, the Dance Dance Revolution and Pop'n Music series are seeing several releases on the horizon.
In the world of Dance Dance Revolution, DDR Music Fit is due out on the 28th and essentially serves as the Japanese release of DDR Hottest Party 3 for the Wii. The game is scheduled to feature at least 50 songs with Japanese licenses and Balance Board features seen only on Wii releases. For the arcade-savvy, Dance Dance Revolution X2 has already undergone several location tests and is due for a Spring 2010 release. The Pop'n Music series will see THREE new releases within the next two months: Pop'n Music 18 (Sengoku Retsuden) releases next Wednesday in arcades and features a feudal Japan theme. For the PSP, Pop'n Music Portable releases on February 4 and will feature 9-button gameplay, with play similar to the DJ Max series. Finally on the DS, a new release labeled Utacchi releases on February 25, featuring previous Pop'n Music licenses and gameplay involving the stylus, likely similar to the Ouendan series. We'll keep you up to date on these titles both in the forums and wiki as information develops. In the mean time, feel free to join the discussion on these new titles in the Dance Dance Revolution and Pop'n Music forums. |
